A dream born from nature
Our story began around 15 years ago with a shared dream to escape the everyday hustle and bustle and build a life in a beautiful location, surrounded by family and our horses. We envisioned a place that we ourselves would love to visit – a retreat that not only complements its stunning natural environment but also actively adds value to the local ecology, economy, and community. Gorwel Holidays is the realisation of that dream, a place designed with passion and a deep respect for the landscape.

Nestled in the heart of Pembrokeshire's breathtaking countryside, Gorwel Holidays offers immediate access to enchanting walks and sights through the nearby Ffynone woods and waterfall. We warmly welcome two small to medium-sized dogs to join you, because as life long dog owners ourselves, we understand they are an integral part of the family. Our goal is to provide a truly special and memorable stay where both you and your furry companions feel completely at home and cherished.

You'll find an abundance of footpaths and bridle paths perfect for exploring, alongside incredible cycle routes and the serene River Teifi. It’s an ideal base for discovering the best of Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, and Ceredigion.
Your cosy countryside escape
Bwthyn-y-Gorwel is a charming, detached cottage, lovingly converted from a traditional stone milking parlour. Step inside to an open-plan living and kitchen area, complete with a cathedral ceiling and exposed beams. Cuddle up by the inviting log burner, perfect for warming up while enjoying your favourite TV shows or browsing via the fast Wi-Fi. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need, including a kettle, coffee machine, oven, hob, microwave, and fridge. The bedroom features ample storage with wardrobes and a chest of drawers, all centred around a comfortable king-size bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep.
